2023 was my wilderness year — it was the year everything took A WILD TURN.
I felt like a wanderer who was going crazy.
I found myself straying from the familiar path to build ventures that clashed and merged in ways that defied logic.
I felt like a misfit in my own story, like a freak charting unexplored territories that no one dared to tread.
Amidst all of the chaos, God led me to Debola Deji-Kurunmi (DDK).
Defiant, Packing Power and BRAZEN FOR JESUS.
Individual & Institution, Pastor, Entrepreneur, Governments Shaper, Builder of Men, Silver-tongued Speaker…
It was beyond my own reasonable comprehension.
I struggled to make sense of her multiple graces and how they finely intersected. Discovering her put me at great ease with who I know I am.
Prior to God intentionally highlighting DDK to me, I didn’t really understand why certain friends kept referencing her anytime I opened up about needing a coach or mentor figure until I took a dive into her life’s work and legacy.
It shook me to my core—her existence was a mirror reflecting what my destiny could look like.
In my gradual obedience to yield to God's gentle nudges, I immersed myself in DDK’s sharpening influence. Under her mentorship, I discovered an arsenal for my divine purpose, and I began to transform:
From Uncertain to Secure in Purpose: I embraced clarity and confidence.
From Local to Global Thinking: My vision expanded beyond borders.
From Playing Safe to Raising the Stakes: I learned to boldly invest in my dreams.
From Just Business to Ministry: I transitioned into a realm where my work became a sacred calling.
Over the past couple of years, I've realised that DDK is God's vessel for my brisk, bold walk into ordained purpose.
The more time I spend under her guidance, the more I morph into a formidable force—a rising authority in the global marketplace, a midwife of transformation, a relentless people builder, a lieutenant of legacy, and a trusted aide to governments.
Finding DDK was not merely a chance encounter; it was an act of deep, unfathomable mercy from God.
TODAY, I HONOUR HER RARE LEGACY.
Her influence has redefined my life for the better and continues to inspire me to become the visionary leader I know that I am destined to be.
